‘The Wearable Chairs’ series extends this inquiry into the realm of everyday objects, reimagining the relationship between body and object. To bring this relationship into focus, elements drawn from the formal language of jewelry—such as necklaces, bracelets, and other adornments—are integrated into the chair’s structure. Sitting thus becomes an act of wearing, and the relationship between body and chair is revealed in a new and unfamiliar way.
