Jewelry has long been regarded as an extension of the body, a means through which identity is expressed. This work explores the shifting nature of identity through the act of wearing jewelry. When worn with the jewel facing inward, it leaves a subtle mark upon the skin, a trace of its intimate encounter with the body. This trace becomes a quiet testament to transformation, evoking the subtle imprints we leave on one another. As it appears and slowly fades, it mirrors the impermanent nature of our connections over time.
