The Meta Metal series challenges the convention in jewelry that relegates metal to a supporting role. To bring metal to the fore, the metal is mounted as the “jewel” itself, and rings are built to make the architecture of the setting explicitly legible. In doing so, the series probes the possibilities of metal when treated as a subject.
